Marilyn Neuhart doll (2008)
$300.00
Cotton
9" x 6"
USA

Marilyn Neuhart started making embroidered dolls for her children — then in 1961 Alexander Girard asked her to make some for his new project with Herman Miller, the Textiles & Objects shop. Almost 50 years and a couple thousand dolls later, Marilyn still makes a few dolls every year. (You should see the books and binders stuffed with photographs of every doll she's ever made.) This doll is new — designed this year for her collaboration with House Industries and Máximo Design. It's a pre-production sample, or prototype. One of a kind.

FABRIC, GIRLS, GRAPHICS, HANDMADE, OBJECTS, PLAYTHINGS

Sorry, sold out.
But there is lots of other nice stuff!
