We like our first MINI-EXHIBITION by the design group
RICH, BRILLIANT, WILLING so much we have decided to keep it on view until MAY 31ST. What a great way to end the month. OPEN TUESDAY TO SATURDAY 1PM - 7PM. The group will be on-hand for some of the time to chat. We have also asked them to make a product to sell at the show and it is really good - individually gathered candles to give instead of flowers. 8" x 1.5" Pajala, SWEDEN In Sweden, and in other parts of Scandinavia, mushrooming is a popular hobby. Done primarily while on summer holiday, the training begins when you are a child. I was surprised by the number of Swedes who can identify mushrooms. Have you ever come across a Chanterelle patch? I did once, hidden under dense scrub we found one and then more and more, by the time we came home our basket was filled and we had more than we could eat. Mind you, this only happened once. This knife comes from the far north of Sweden and is perfect to carry with you in the forest and for cleaning the mushrooms at home. Handmade of course.
