This year our annual sale is happening together with AREAWARE and at the same time as Mini-Exhibition #3 by BROKEN PLATE COOKIES. Friday September 12th thru Sunday September 14th from 1 - 7 pm. Cookies are only on the weekend, it's a real rummage sale.

11” diameter x 6 1/2” Oita, JAPAN THIS IS AN ONGOING ITEM! When we found this steamer basket we each thought, wow, cool basket, what is it for and then each of us came up with a variety of things to do with it: holding papers, fruit basket, beautiful object for the shelf, steaming food etc. Technically it is designed for steaming food by placing it in a pot with a small amount of water underneath, just as one would with any steamer. It is also nice for serving tempura with a small white paper between the basket and the tempura. We can think of a 100 ways to use this basket and are certain you will too. At the end of the day it is a beautiful object that takes on many applications.
