This year our annual sale is happening together with AREAWARE and at the same time as Mini-Exhibition #3 by BROKEN PLATE COOKIES. Friday September 12th thru Sunday September 14th from 1 - 7 pm. Cookies are only on the weekend, it's a real rummage sale.

Xochitlán 23" x 23" This dishcloth reminds me of the embroidery often seen on womens blouses in the region. I thought it was really interesting to see a similar style of stitching in such a utilitarian object. It was sold in a shop that supplies embroidery thread so to me it was clear why the shop owner would be drawn to it.
