My mother had these in her kitchen, now they are in mine, my co-workers mother had these in her kitchen but they are no longer sold in the US, not certain why as they are J.A. Henckels number one seller in Germany. Strange no? I thought so too. Made by the 275-year-old firm best known in America for their high quality knives. A multi-purpose shear, the scissor can be used for cutting as well as bottle and lid opening and difficult twist-offs. Their special blend of chromium and carbon makes this one of the best stainless steels on the market. If my mothers scissors are any proof these scissors will last a lifetime! They are worth it! Sold in different colors, I felt the red was the easiest to locate in the kitchen drawer.
