We like our first MINI-EXHIBITION by the design group
RICH, BRILLIANT, WILLING so much we have decided to keep it on view until MAY 31ST. What a great way to end the month. OPEN TUESDAY TO SATURDAY 1PM - 7PM. The group will be on-hand for some of the time to chat. We have also asked them to make a product to sell at the show and it is really good - individually gathered candles to give instead of flowers. 11" x 3.5" Helsinki, FINLAND THIS IS AN ONGOING ITEM! Airam, established in 1921, is one of the many Finnish companies that dabble in this and that. Much like Nokia, for example, which began in paper production in the late 1800's and diversified until they launched their electronics division in the 60's, Airam produces lighting, flashlights, batteries, thermoses, etc. The products claim to fame is it keeps the liquid hot for 24 hours at 40 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Since it gets cold in Finland and Finns are into frozen lake plunges and ice fishing, among other outdoor wintertime sports, I was willing to bet on it. The graphics are pretty nice too; double glass inner chamber that keeps things warm inside but the thermos cool on the outside.
