My mother had these in her kitchen. Now they are in mine. However, they are no longer sold in the USÂ…not certain why as they are J.A. Henckels number one scissor in Germany. Strange, no? I thought so too. Made by the 275-year-old firm best known for their high quality knives. A multipurpose shear, the scissor can be used for cutting as well as bottle and lid opening and on difficult twist-offs. Their special blend of chromium and carbon makes this one of the best stainless steels on the market. If my mother's scissors are any proof, they will last a lifetime!
