Münder Enamel has been in operation since 1890; this soap dish being one of their early designs. Cute and basic, good for the country or the city; perfect next to the studio sink. My husband thinks of Provence, Yuki thinks of Portugal. Let's all do a bit of time traveling with the soap dish. For me I think of my first apartment in New York, and my second for that matter, with the shower in the kitchen and one sink for the whole place. I would have loved to have found this soap dish on the wall over the sink then. Although, even though I have two sinks now, I love having the soap dish over the kitchen sink today.
