Lunar Calendar for 2026 by Anna and Harry
""We first started paying active attention to the lunar phases when we started farming our allotment over ten years ago and began reading about the agricultural research of Maria Thun. We had her very complex gardening calendar and also a simple lunar calendar that we would use to determine the ideal time for certain allotment activities, sowing, pruning, harvesting etc. Having the moon calendar around the house soon became indispensable and we decided it would be nice to design and print our own as new year gifts for friends and fam. The following year we went big and decided to sell them! I guess that was 2019. The text and moons are all hand drawn - a repetitive and trance like task that Harry relishes (when it’s done!). And the calendars are all screen printed by hand by us, I really mean it when I say we like repetition.""
""Each year the design is different but the layout is the same, we take inspiration from the natural world, from almanacs past and from the night sky of course! This years is a storm cloud grey with the moody purple of approaching rain. I’ve always been intrigued by the fact that both publicans and paramedics pay attention to the moon, we can all benefit from looking at the sky when dealing with life's tides.""
