In 2009 KIOSK was invited to be in a group show at Participant Gallery with a number of artists. The show was curated by Jonathan Berger and called "Nothing Up My Sleeve", being based on the work of Stuart Sherman. Through that show we were introduced to James Wines and SITE projects. SITE designed the first Shake Shack in Madison Square Garden in 2004 but their most fantastic buildings are the ones they created for BEST in the 70s, completely mind-blowing. We said if ever KIOSK becomes a mega-store (one never knows) and needs to build such a building we know who we would go to. James is beyond an artist and architect and environmentalist. The most spectacular structures, I can't believe how fantastical they are or that they even became a reality. As a side note, the owner of BEST was an art collector which allowed the door to open. This is the catalog from their show at the MoMA. I wound up with two so I am selling one, it's best this baby is out in the world for all to see. In very good condition.
