KIOSK ROSS TEE
Sewn in L.A
Screenprinted superlocally, a few blocks away
A couple of years ago a friend of mine was visiting from Sweden during one of the hottest Sundays of August. Not wanting to be outside in the scorching heat and knowing he was curious how to screenprint, we headed to KIOSK when it was at 95 Spring Street, set up the kit to print some tees and went and got some white blanks from the American Apparel store a few doors down. We had some old screens on loan from Ross Menuez that we were using for our bags. At the time we just printed a few tees in some random colors, white being one of them. I got really attached to the white ones - as they aged, the print started to get more and more prominent without being in your face either! I make good use of the colored ones too when my mood for color prompts me to. After being asked time and time again if I couldn't make just a few more, we set out to ... make a few more!
