In the 70s a village near to the most famous of Provence villages (not at the time), Gordes, was reconstructed from ruin by a Mr. Pierre Viala. Here, in the book, he speaks about the construction and the reconstruction of the village. As one often sees such ruins in nature I had assumed these were simply individual shepherds huts. I was wrong. As you can see from the text, images and map...entire villages, albeit small, were constructed for people, animals, ovens, cisterns, wine storage, etc. I am particularly fascinated by the kitchen and find the use of stone incredibly inspiring. If you find yourself interested and in the region, happy to hike with you to a hidden Boire up the mountain.  \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"KIOSK","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":68161462927511,"sku":null,"price":28.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0014\/5634\/1052\/files\/PXL_20261026_154627441.MP_2.jpg?v=1793029723","url":"https:\/\/kioskkiosk.com\/products\/le-village-des-bories-a-gordes","provider":"KIOSK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
